KEY RESPONSIBILITIES General Diagnostic Procedures: Performs all diagnostic procedures following policies and procedures established by the department, including the Fluoro and OR. Adjusts patient care based on age specific needs Uses all equipment properly and in a manner that minimizes hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients. Determines most suitable position and shields patient for optimum imaging and patient comfort.# Follows ALARA principle staff and patients shielding. Explains procedures and responds to questions appropriately. Scans paperwork into PAC#s System. Maintains a working knowledge of PAC#s System. Demonstrates knowledge of CD Burning. Completes patient charges for each exam in a timely manner. Transports patients to and from the department. Maintains a clean and orderly environment and associated checklist. Able to note when order and inclination will not be correct. Keep dose as low as possible to acheive a diagnostic exam. Administrative: Uses computer to access reports. Follows protocols for releasing of images. Assists with administrative responsibilities of the department to include scheduling appointments, answering the phone, etc. Performs all quality controls procedures daily as assigned and maintains appropriate logs. Participates in annual surveys and inspections Able to teach/aid students. COMPENSATION:# Minimum pay: $30.70 Maximum pay: $47.58
