About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with established radiology standards. This role supports efficient department operations through accurate imaging, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• ARRT Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience
• EPIC EMR experience (Required)
• Active, unrestricted state radiologic technologist license
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Operate radiographic equipment and imaging systems safely and efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety principles and ALARA standards.
• Verify patient identity, review exam orders, and confirm clinical history prior to imaging.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
