About The Position

Under the direction of the radiologist, provides X-ray services to patients. Closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree required or completion of an accredited radiology technology program.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) required.
• IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) required.
• Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required, to be obtained within 12 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide X-ray services to patients under the direction of the radiologist.
• Follow physician's instructions closely.
• Appropriately position patients for imaging.
• Prepare and operate X-ray equipment.
• Accurately record the images requested.
