About The Position

ChristianaCare is a nonprofit health system with a mission of service, passionate about love and excellence. The Christiana Hospital Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to work the evening shift. This individual will also work every 4th weekend and every other holiday requirement. The successful candidate will be responsible for complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment, developing and identifying radiographs, covering the Emergency Department (ED), OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro, assisting with the training of radiology technology students, and using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems. The position requires operating equipment from Phillips, Siemens, Carestream, and Canon.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science
• RT Technologist experience preferred
• ARRT Registered Technologist required
• Delaware license
• Certification in CPR
• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
• Developing and identifying radiographs, including proper identification of film, date, and time
• Covering the Emergency Department (ED), OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro
• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
• Operating the following equipment: Phillips, Siemens, Carestream, and Canon
