About The Position

The Middletown ED Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to work a day/evening rotating shift. This individual will also work every 6th weekend and two holidays a year.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science
• RT Technologist experience preferred
• ARRT Registered Technologist required
• Delaware license
• Certification in CPR
• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
• Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro
• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
• Operating the following equipment: Phillips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon
