About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by the physician. This role will assist with x-rays when backup and coverage is needed. The Medical Assistant duties will be the main position.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two (2) years of experience in a directly related area
• Valid state Radiologic Technologist license
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Knowledgeable in computer systems (e.g. PACS), MS Word, Excel and others.
• Able to lift and assist patients as needed for proper positioning.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures in a manner to comply with state and federal regulations
• Assists in maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies in the department
• Maintains documentation of patient testing information
• Completes other comparable duties and assignments as directed by the Radiology Manager
• Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
