Radiologic Technologist - Mammography - Part Time
About The Position
Our Imaging Services team is seeking a registered Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This tech will be expected to perform all general radiology exams included but not limited to x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable, mammography, c-arm, and IR cases. Works directly with hospital employees, physicians, patients, families, visitors, and community health professionals. Requirements: Completion of accredited program of Radiologic Technology and current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Current licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Radiologic Technology. Experience in mammography is highly preferred. Responsibilities: Arranges supplies and equipment between each trip or patient and procedure to ensure timeliness of the examination. Assures availability of supplies/stocks. Reads and verifies physician order prior to exam. X-rays properly identified patient according to departmental policies and procedures, without delay. Orders or edits test as performed to assure proper billing. Performs all general radiology exams included but not limited to x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable, mammography, c-arm, and IR cases. Schedule: Part-Time Hours will vary but will include: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM This position will participate in the On-Call rotation of every 7th week This position will be scheduled for 1-2 holidays per year Pay Range: Hourly/Non-Exempt $27.00 - $44.00 A Work Experience with Purpose Woman’s is one of the largest specialty hospitals in the country dedicated to the care of women and infants. Requirements
