About The Position

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at a Transplant Heart Hospital. In this specialized environment, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work in high-pressure situations, and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); if not registered, must obtain the registry within 6 months of hire.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology.
• Demonstrates a high degree of technical competency and the ability to act with initiative and ingenuity with minimum supervision.
• Applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and/or pediatric radiology.
