About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist – Interventional for a 14-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality radiographic examinations under the direction of radiologists while ensuring patient safety, proper positioning, and adherence to radiation protection standards. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license/registration
• Minimum one (1) year of radiologic technologist experience
• At least one (1) year of CT or MRI experience
• Ability to meet pre-employment health screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations as ordered by physicians and radiologists
• Prepare and educate patients regarding procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate exposure factors
• Adhere to radiation safety and protection standards at all times
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report equipment issues promptly
• Process images and document procedures in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and imaging protocols
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and patient-focused clinical environment
