About The Position
Reporting to the Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the manager and under the direction of the surgeons and the radiologists performs surgical diagnostic procedure in surgery, as needed, and other diagnostic x-ray procedures; trains and supervises students in the Surgery Department area.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
- Current ARRT registration with certification in Radiography and Illinois Emergency Management Agency, Dept of Nuclear Safety accreditation required.
- One year experience as a general radiographer with operating room experience or an NCH student Radiologic Technologist graduate with 3 months experience in surgery/OR required.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
