About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist II will operate radiology equipment and perform radiographic examinations to provide the clinical team with films, images, or other records to be used for diagnosis and/or treatment. The Radiologic Technologist II will explain radiology procedures to patients, position patients for safe examinations, and help establish the patient's trust to the clinical team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• ARRT - Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
• BLS certification (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required.
• 1 Year prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, required.
• Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher, preferred.
