Overview We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist II, internally referred to as our Rad Tech I I . Rad Tech II’s will f ocus will be on conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures and Mammography , which involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. This position is on a Full-time . Shift’s Available: Full-time Employment Type: Full-time Hours: Monday- Friday 1:30 p.m-11:30 p.m. Location : Dallas Regional Medical Center Sign on Bonus : UP TO $20,000 Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Competitive compensation Medical insurance benefit plan 401K Sick leave accrual Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): C onduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, and other examinations following departmental protocols R esponsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed I nteract with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations M aintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history S tay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification O perate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images M aintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) #LI-MK3 Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. 2. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required 3. Current BCLS (AHA). 4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations. 5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred 6. Proficient computer skills.
