About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist shall be responsible to perform radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries in accordance with the American College of Radiology. This individual will work with other Technologists, Radiologists, and the leader to ensure all diagnostic procedures are performed efficiently, effectively, and with the highest level of quality and concern for each patient. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required.
• Active ARRT (R) required
• BLS required
• Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
• Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Must remain aware of patient conditions at all times.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Position requires sitting for 10% of the workday, standing 40% and mobility 70% of the workday.
• There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
• Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
• There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
• Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
• Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• Minimal noise levels.
• Much exposure to computer work.
• Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
• Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
• Some exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Exposure to radiation.
• Must be able to assist and maneuver patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers and beds

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in Radiology preferred.
