About The Position

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I, internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I . The Rad Tech I will be conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures. This involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. Shift Available: Varied shifts- Cross Train in CT!!! Requirements

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • ARRT-R is required.
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, and other examinations following departmental protocols
  • Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed
  • Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations
  • Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
