At The Hospital of Central Connecticut, we offer: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for 24-35 hours/week Tuition Reimbursement up to $5,250.00 after six months of employment and up to 40%25 tuition discounts with partnering institutions for colleague AND dependents Partnership with equipment manufacturers allowing for new equipment with state-of-the-art features and imaging packages On-the-job training in a teaching hospital that offers a great learning environment Opportunities for modality cross-training and career advancement Free parking Generous Paid Time Off, 401k with company match and so much more Position Summary: The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures including but not limited to ambulatory or acute settings by positioning patients, operating diagnostic x-ray equipment and providing patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
  • State of Connecticut Radiographer license
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (obtained within 120 days of graduation for new graduates)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

  • performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures including but not limited to ambulatory or acute settings by positioning patients
  • operating diagnostic x-ray equipment
  • providing patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient
