About The Position

We are hiring a PET/Nuclear Med Tech (Full Time) to join our Imaging Services Team! Located in northwest Arizona, Kingman has a mild climate with stunning Arizona sunsets! Under the direction of the radiologist, performs appropriate diagnostic exams and studies to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Radiologic Technologist program
  • Current registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)
  • Current registration and licensure by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
  • American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Education preferred from an educational institution approved by ARRT, Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT), or the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Radiologist and the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS), administers ionizing radiation for the purpose of diagnosis which includes positioning the x-ray beam with respect to the patient, anatomically positioning the patient, selecting exposure factors, and initiating exposure.
  • The technologist provides evidence-based care so as to prevent the development of a Healthcare Acquired Condition and hospital readmissions.
  • Comply with all regulatory, organizational, and departmental statutes, policies, and procedures.
  • Regularly applies AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) as well as other evidence-based behaviors when taking care of patients. Shows empathy care to patients and family members present.
