About The Position

MUSC/Florence, SC seeking FT Rad Tech to join our team! Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 2-4 years of experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities.
• Effectively explain procedures to patients.
• Ensure patients are competent in the procedures being performed.
• Produce images for interpretation or request of a licensed practitioner.
