The Flex Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The Flex RT does not anchor at one particular urgent care site. The Flex RT works across sites in close proximity to one another. As patient care needs arise requiring X-ray, the Flex RT travels to the respective site to render care. The travel nature of this role enables the Flex RT to be exposed to a variety of urgent care settings and maximizes the quantity of X-Rays an RT performs.
