About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic (X-Ray) for a 13-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. Requirements

Education: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program
Licensure: Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Technical Skills: Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment and RIS platforms

Responsibilities

Clinical Imaging Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiographic examinations with accuracy and efficiency
Ensure proper patient positioning and appropriate exposure techniques
Patient Care Greet and prepare patients for imaging procedures
Clearly explain examination processes to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort
Radiation Safety Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Equipment & Operations Operate diagnostic imaging equipment effectively
Identify and promptly report equipment issues or malfunctions
Documentation & Systems Accurately process images and enter required information into the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Ensure documentation supports clinical, operational, and billing requirements
Compliance Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
