About The Position

In this role you will play a key role in patient care by performing diagnostic imaging and assisting with procedures. Work situations are a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement, initiative, and ingenuity. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for MultiCare patients.

Requirements

Graduate with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist required
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
Certified Ragiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health
BLS

Responsibilities

Perform general radiography imaging studies under the supervision of department leadership of Imaging Services
Operate imaging equipment for both diagnostic studies and supporting physicians during sterile procedures
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and/or child life specialists to deliver coordinated care
Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and contrast administration protocols
You will recognize and report patient needs to create a safe and comfortable patient care environment
Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 imaging services
