About The Position

The position involves performing diagnostic radiographs in accordance with guidelines for patients of MercyOne. The role requires adherence to MercyOne's performance expectations and performing all defined services and other related duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of MercyOne.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved educational program of x-ray technology
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists registered; must carry an Iowa Permit to Practice and maintain CEUs
• BLS certification
• Mandatory Reporter certification

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and trauma x-rays for the clinic, urgent care, and occupational health as well as EKGs as appropriate to age-related needs of the patient.
• Performs EKG's as well as FAA EKG's.
• Collects x-ray orders and prepares order so x-rays can be processed.
• Provides care appropriate to the age-related needs of the patients based on principles of growth and development.
• Acts as a collaborating member of the clinic medical home team and is highly committed to a team construct.
• Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
