About The Position

We are hiring a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) with proven experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology to provide procedural case support and device in-servicing in the San Antonio region. This is a flexible PRN/1099 consulting role, ideal for technologists who want independence while leveraging their Cath Lab expertise.

Requirements

Active RT(R) credential
Minimum 3 years Cath Lab / IR / Hybrid OR experience.
Experience with devices such as Inari, Impella, AngioJet, IVUS, and similar systems.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with physicians and staff.
Valid driver’s license, ability to travel regionally.

Nice To Haves

Device training or medical device in-servicing background.
Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular/peripheral techniques (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, etc.).

Responsibilities

Scrub in and assist physicians during interventional cardiovascular and peripheral cases.
Provide monitoring and procedural support in Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR.
Deliver staff education and in-servicing on interventional devices and best practices.
Support procedures including structural heart, thrombectomy, vascular interventions, and device implants.
Ensure compliance with sterile technique and safety protocols.
Travel throughout the San Antonio area as needed (mileage reimbursed).
