About The Position

Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the
standards established by the Mammography Quality Standard Act (MQSA) and Mayo
Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency
assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper
safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters
teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to
patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal
patient care.

This is a dual-modality role with staff working between General Radiology and BI
modalities and is a rare opportunity to have hands on care and imaging for a
patient visit in multiple modalities.
General Radiology responsibilities
include X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Surgical Services, and Bone Density Imaging.
This
position is split between the two modalities, but a great opportunity to learn
and become efficient in both roles.
