Job Description: Essential Functions: Prepares patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly. Operates and maintains radiologic equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. Assists radiologic technologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. Monitors patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintains patient records and ensures that all necessary information is accurately documented. Follows safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

  • High School graduate or equivalent, required.
  • CPR certification, required.
  • Ability to learn new procedures,follow instructions, and establish professional rapport with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current student ofan accredited Radiologic Technology Program, preferred.
  • Three quarters of experience as a student radiographer, preferred.
