About The Position

The Radiologic Technician, Non-Registered is actively attending a radiology technologist training program or is a recent graduate who has not taken the ARRT licensing exam. They are responsible for learning how to perform radiologic procedures, working under the supervision of a licensed, registered radiologic technologist. Exams performed are upon request of referring providers and as directed by OMC credentialed radiologists.

Requirements

Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training; or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
Completion of radiology program didactic education.
Satisfactory performance in active, clinical radiology training program.
Progressive clinical skill development during radiology training assignment while enrolled as a student in a radiologic technology program.
Student status or registry eligible upon satisfactory completion of training program.
Recent graduates will have met all prerequisites and are in pre-registry status with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Washington State X-ray technician license required.
BLS certified or able to obtain and maintain certification.
