About The Position

Radiology Technologist I — Diagnostic Imaging Deliver clear images and kinder care. As a Radiology Tech I at NARMC, you’ll perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays, assist during procedures, and keep patients safe and comfortable—so providers have the answers they need. Job Summary Operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images; position patients, select techniques per protocol, assist during sterile procedures, and document accurately in Meditech. Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and room readiness.

Requirements

  • Completion of a recognized program in Radiologic Science & Technology
  • Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License
  • BLS
  • English proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Select/operate radiography equipment; position patients; determine proper technique and evaluate images for quality/identifiers.
  • Support exams under sterile conditions; inject contrast under direct in-house supervision; verify informed consent for invasive procedures.
  • Complete Meditech procedure documentation and charges; burn study CDs; maintain room stock and equipment.
  • Assist with patient transport and education; follow HIPAA, infection control, and biohazard disposal procedures.
