About The Position
About the Unit We offer a wide range of imaging that includes, Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), PET/CT, Mammography, and Ultrasound. We are a fundamental part of the care team -- we use the latest imaging technology to help with the diagnosis and treatment of our patients. The staff here give their best daily to deliver quality care to our community. Scope of Work Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.
Requirements
- HS Diploma Required
- must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
- Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure.
- Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.
