Summary: Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. The Radiology Technologist II must meet all basic criteria for Radiology Technologist I, and demonstrate proficiency in the responsibilities listed below.

  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
  • BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
  • Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a high pace multi-tasking environment and take appropriate actions.
  • Proficient in complex fluoroscopy exams, also inclusive of pediatric population at sites that performs pediatric fluoroscopy.
  • Minimum two (2) years of Radiology Technologist experience.

  • Advanced ARRT Certifications: i.e., Multi-Modality Certifications in other Imaging Modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs workflow management, as necessary.
  • Operates Fluoroscope, C-Arm imaging systems and performs all surgical image guided procedures.
  • Provides feedback on performance evaluations for peers and trainees.
  • Serves as a clinical resource for staff.
  • Actively participates in Radiology Quality Assurance (QA) Program (resource for peers on-site for specific skills and communicates radiologist feedback on image quality in constructive manner).
  • Performs Quality Assurance Testing on imaging and related equipment.
  • Precepts, at least, 2 students and/or new hires per quarter.
