Radiography Program Director (ARRT)

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Radiography Program Director to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This is your chance to make a significant impact by maintaining and enhancing our excellent educational program in radiography. As the Program Director, you will play a crucial role in supervising the activities of the radiography staff, preparing teaching assignments, and establishing and implementing department goals. You will also be responsible for reviewing student success rates and implementing plans to reduce student withdrawals, ensuring that we maintain an 80% student success rate for all classes taught in the program. In this leadership role, you will foster a culture of excellence and innovation in radiography education, contributing to the healthcare community by preparing skilled radiography technicians. You will monitor the department budget and expenditures, making necessary corrections to maintain a profitable program. Additionally, you will coordinate educational workshops and in-services for didactic and clinical faculty, prepare didactic instruction including course objectives, and maintain student grades in accordance with established policies. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating student performance, securing new clinical sites, and collaborating with administration in the design and implementation of the radiography program. You will maintain all ARRT records and prepare annual reports, as well as prepare a self-study for accreditation. This position may also require you to perform functions of a Radiography instructor as needed.
