About The Position
Position Summary To plan, coordinate and instruct didactic and laboratory radiography courses for radiography students in accordance with JRCERT Standards and ASRT Curriculum pertaining to radiography. Establishes and maintains course objectives by following a lesson plan. Evaluating and assessing student learning and progression. Education · Bachelor’s Degree required. Completion from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Master's Degree in Education, Science, Healthcare, or related field strongly preferred. Experience Minimum two ((2) years clinical experience in the professional discipline and one (1) year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program required. Qualified to teach the subject of Radiography. Proficient in course development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising. Skills Proficient in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising; Proven interaction and communication (oral, written, presenting) skills to communicate effectively with students, patients, physicians, faculty members, radiographers, and business administration. Demonstrates competence, clinical expertise, and sound professional judgement. Ability to work independently and cooperatively within an educational environment and with healthcare team members. Ability to use time management skills to set priorities and support the educational process. Ability to use effective analytical and critical thinking skills to problem-solve, make decisions, and respond appropriately to meet the needs of students, faculty, and the department. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Completion from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
