About The Position

The Orthopedic Radiographer is responsible for providing high‑quality diagnostic radiographic imaging to support orthopedic providers in the delivery of exceptional patient care. This position operates on a full‑time schedule of 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day (7:00 AM – 2:30 PM). The technologist will primarily be based at Elective Orthopedics – 2770 E Beltline Ave. NE, but may be required to travel to additional locations as needed, including Trauma Orthopedics – 221 Michigan St., and South Pavilion Orthopedics – 80 68th St. The role includes performing routine and specialized orthopedic X‑rays, ensuring accurate imaging, maintaining patient safety, and supporting clinical workflows within a fast‑paced orthopedic clinical environment. This team member will work closely with orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, and clinic support staff to ensure timely imaging, excellent patient service, and adherence to regulatory and quality standards. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Bone Densitometry (BD) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Bone Density Sites Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of relevant experience in radiology

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, and surgery procedures according to standards and practices.
• Receives and ensures the execution of physician orders.
• Ensures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
