About The Position

Performs routine and specialized diagnostic and technical radiographic procedures at an advanced skill level. Duties and Responsibilities Performs radiographic examinations. Performs diagnostic procedures in one or more of the following specialty areas: operating room procedures (includes overhead, fluoroscopic and portable C-arm procedures) Oversees the work of other personnel by training, allocating and monitoring work. Performs work of a similar nature. Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures. Evaluates recorded images for technical quality. Assists in inventory control and ordering supplies. Required for All Jobs: Performs other related duties as identified. Requirements

  • Associate's degree Required
  • 3 years Required
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
  • Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required
  • Accredited program in radiologic technology Upon Hire Required
