About The Position
Reports to the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor. Under general direction, operates radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic x-ray films as prescribed by physicians and perform diagnostic procedures according to established protocols.
Requirements
- Graduate from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology School.
- ARRT registered.
- Must have BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Preforms quality diagnostic imaging studies in all patient settings using proper technical imaging factors.
- Preforms quality diagnostic imaging studies observing Radiation Protection Standards.
- Provides for patient comfort, privacy, and safety.
- Administers Radiographic contrast and/or pharmaceuticals according to policy.
- Maintains patient records.
