The position is for a Full Time Radiologic Technologist working nights from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with a rotation that includes weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. The role involves performing routine diagnostic, technical, and special radiographic procedures at a general skill level. The technologist will be responsible for conducting radiographic examinations, obtaining patient history, explaining routine procedures, and addressing patient concerns. Additionally, the technologist will perform diagnostic procedures in specialty areas such as operating room procedures, complex portables, or trauma procedures at a beginner level. The role also includes scheduling cases to coordinate with other patient examinations, safely positioning and transferring patients, immobilizing patients as necessary, and practicing radiation safety procedures. The technologist will process images using digital technology and evaluate recorded images for technical quality, maintaining a repeat rate under 6%. Participation in collaborative projects with other departments to improve care and efficiency is also expected.
