Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled RF Engineer and Test Manager to support an innovative program. You will provide engineering and test management support, leading the development, integration, and execution of advanced RF technologies. You will lead teams through all phases of testing—from laboratory and chamber environments through field testing—while shaping technical strategy and program roadmaps. You will also support program management functions including coordination, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, experimentation, operational testing, and transition activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Radiofrequency (RF) systems development.
  • Demonstrated experience leading lab, chamber, and field-testing efforts.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams of engineers and test personnel.
  • Experience developing and executing technical strategies and program roadmaps.
  • Strong program management experience, including coordination, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and assess intelligence data to inform program direction.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including briefing senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and respond to rapid-turn requests.
  • Experience working in classified environments at the TS/SCI/SAP levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience developing system architectures and guiding advanced research programs.
  • Experience overseeing experimentation, operational testing, and transition activities.
  • Direct experience working with DARPA, other S&T organizations, and operational DoD entities.
  • Experience coordinating interagency engagements across DoD, Service Labs, and FFRDCs.
  • Experience supporting source selection and proposal evaluation activities.
  • Flexible, adaptable mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced R&D environment.
