About The Position

NRG Media Omaha is seeking an energetic and engaging Radio Talk Show Host who is passionate about radio, sports, and connecting with audiences across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, enthusiastic, and highly knowledgeable about the community and high school sports. This individual will connect with listeners and clients on-air, online, through social media, and in person, while helping to grow the station’s brand and presence.

Requirements

Understanding of show preparation and live radio broadcasting
Strong knowledge of college and high school sports
Proficiency across all major social media platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience or interest in blogging and podcasting
Ability to build and maintain relationships with client partners
Genuine desire to be an active part of the communities we serve

Responsibilities

Host talk show with compelling, knowledgeable, and entertaining content
Prepare daily show content, including research, topics, and interviews
Engage audiences on-air, on digital platforms, and via social media
Represent the station at community events, remotes, promotions, and appearances
Collaborate with the sales team to develop sponsorships, events, and revenue-generating ideas
Promote station initiatives while fostering creativity, teamwork, and mutual respect
