About The Position

OBXtek is currently seeking an Army Radios SSO for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise. Position Description: Supports Army tactical radio and waveform modernization programs within the Mission Command portfolio. Provides analysis and recommendations on network transport, interoperability, and capability integration across echelons. Develops information papers, briefings, and SPAR/POM inputs addressing cost, schedule, and performance. Coordinates with ASA(ALT), T2COM, and ARSTAF to align tactical communications with Army network objectives.

Requirements

  • Must possess a DoD Secet security clearance.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
  • Demonstrates expert analytical and technical skills in tactical radio systems, waveforms, and network interoperability.
  • Proficient in evaluating capability performance, modernization impacts, and lifecycle sustainment of Army communication systems.
  • Possesses advanced analytical and communication abilities to produce clear, data-driven assessments supporting tactical network modernization.
