About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Radio Frequency Simulator Developer to join a team assisting the 23rd Electronic Warfare Squadron (23 EWS), 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation. As a Radio Frequency Simulator Developer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or a related field or similar experience in Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations related to platforms ; Note - 6 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education requirements.
  • The candidate will possess a minimum of three years' experience in EW systems or applications.
  • Knowledgeable in basic RF principles and its applications
  • Knowledgeable in intelligence data
  • Experienced in programming and running electromagnetic environment simulations, CEESIM and Keysight Simview desired
  • Programming skills and knowledge of various programming languages
  • Testing and debugging skills related to mission data development and testing
  • Experience in the development and implementation of MD on aircraft electronic warfare (EW) and/or defensive systems

  • Current active Secret security clearance with Top Secret eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Designs RF Threat Simulations and Scenarios for 23 EWS/SWB
  • Functions as technical lead for RF simulation design, development, testing, and evaluation on the applicable EW systems
  • Collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure mission data design, development, and testing meets customer requirements
  • Gathers, interprets, and programs RF emitter definitions using EDG, Spectre, and other relevant software referencing applicable intel sources
