You'll collaborate with an elite network of institutions, academia, and industry pioneers to evaluate and validate emerging technologies across the full spectrum of readiness levels-from initial Technology Readiness Level (TRL) assessments through Integration and System Readiness Level evaluations. Your expertise will be instrumental in determining how promising innovations can be seamlessly incorporated into software-defined radios (SDRs), while maintaining the highest standards for platform compatibility. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Test and Evaluation (T&E) performing debugging, testing, integration, optimization, characterization, performance, requirements, and compliance testing for tactical communication systems
  • 3+ years of experience conducting testing and evaluation of satellite or radio systems to assess software implementations in a lab environment for a DoD project
  • 3+ years of experience developing test procedures to assess software implementation of waveforms for a DoD project
  • Experience performing waveform characterization for tactical communication systems
  • Experience conducting tactical radio testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience executing modern tactical radio verification testing
  • Ability to travel to test events and conduct waveform testing
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Computing, Mathematics, Physics, Management Information Systems, or a Computer Science or Engineering field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with open architecture constructs, such as Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR)/Electronic Warfare Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), Open Mission Systems/Universal Command and Control Interface (OMS/UCI), Agile Mission Suite (AMS), or Government Reference Architecture (GRA)
  • Experience with Low Probability of Detection (LPD) and Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) waveforms and anti-jam capabilities for tactical communication systems
  • Experience coordinating Navy project testing with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in a lab environment for a Navy project
  • TS/SCI clearance
