About The Position

We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled RF Design Engineer to join our growing team in San Jose. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing and developing our innovative RF/Microwave product lines. You'll contribute to the design of critical components, from amplifiers and mixers to filters and oscillators, utilizing your expertise in simulation, modeling, and testing. Additionally, you will support the redesign of obsolete electrical components and assist the production team with hardware deliveries. Responsibilities

  • Design and Simulation: Utilize your skills in simulation and modeling to design RF/Microwave circuits, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, filters, and oscillators, adhering to HONEYWELL design standards.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough performance analysis of circuits, including multistage cascade analysis, to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
  • Test and Validation: Develop test procedures, perform testing, and troubleshoot and optimize prototype circuits and components to meet stringent specification requirements and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers, designers, and drafters to create comprehensive mechanical design packages.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to enhance processes, promote safety, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Technical Mentorship: Collaborate with technicians on the testing, tuning, and optimization of prototype circuits.
  • Support production line with testing and troubleshooting in order to meet delivery commitments.
  • Support the factory in addressing Diminished Material Sources (DMS) activities by redesigning obsolete electrical components.
  • Support the production engineering team with the delivery of hardware and other manufacturing activities.
