About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiation Therapy Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Lawrenceville, GA.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience within Radiation Therapy specialty
- Current AHA BLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients as ordered by the radiation oncologist
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
- Position patients correctly for treatment using immobilization devices as needed
- Verify treatment plans and ensure correct dosage and targeting before administration
- Monitor patient condition during treatment sessions and report any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and machine settings
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, nurses, and oncology team members to ensure coordinated care
- Follow strict safety protocols to ensure radiation protection for patients, staff, and self
- Perform routine equipment quality checks and report any technical issues promptly
