About The Position
The Radiation Therapy Technologist provides specialized radiation treatment services to patients undergoing cancer therapy. This role ensures proper equipment usage and patient safety during treatment procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in Radiation Therapy
- LINAC operation experience required
- ARRT Certification
- BLS (AHA)
Responsibilities
- Set up and position patients for radiation therapy
- Operate Linear Accelerator (LINAC) machines
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments accurately
- Observe patients for any reactions during procedures
- Maintain accurate treatment logs and patient information
