About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to support the Oncology Unit in delivering radiation therapy treatments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating advanced radiation therapy systems and ensuring safe, accurate treatment delivery for oncology patients.

Requirements

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy.
• New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) certification.
• Minimum 5 years of Radiation Therapist experience .
• Candidates must have hands-on experience with: TrueBeam linear accelerator AlignRT / Vision RT surface-guided radiation therapy systems RGSC (Respiratory Gating System for Radiation Therapy)

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and treatment plans.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately.
• Position patients precisely and ensure proper alignment during treatment sessions.
• Monitor patient condition throughout treatment procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology staff to ensure effective treatment delivery.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
