Position Overview The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and established clinical protocols. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to grow within a highly collaborative and mission-driven team. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, accuracy, and compassion in patient interactions and treatment delivery.

Requirements

  • Completion of a formal Radiation Therapy education program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT
  • 0–3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
  • Certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist – R.T.(T), ARRT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Note: New graduates without ARRT certification must obtain registry within one year of graduation from an approved program
  • Basic knowledge of radiographic and radiation therapy equipment and procedures
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with radiology systems such as RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer radiation therapy to patients per physician prescription and standard practice guidelines
  • Monitor patient safety and ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of treatment records, imaging, and technical parameters
  • Manage supplies and equipment efficiently and report service needs
  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer service in all interactions
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
