We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Radiation Therapist at varying levels (I, II). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Graduated from accredited Radiation Therapy Program
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT)
  • Licensed by the Department of Health as Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT)
  • Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association
  • Clinical judgment and knowledge of radiation therapy, practices and safety ASCP eligible
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email
  • Proven maintain and complete continuing education in applicable areas

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of performing as Radiation Therapist

Responsibilities

  • Provide radiation oncology treatments and high-quality patient care.
  • Act as an essential member of the Cancer Service Team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate all treatment and simulation equipment
  • Includes all duties of Radiation Therapist I
