About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality radiation treatments in a hospital-based oncology unit. The role requires strong technical expertise, precision, and compassionate patient care while operating advanced radiation therapy systems.
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy)
- Active NYSDOH license
- Minimum 5 years of Radiation Therapy experience
- Experience with TrueBeam and AlignRT/Vision RT systems
- Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and patient communication skills
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation treatments using linear accelerator technology
- Operate TrueBeam systems and AlignRT/Vision RT surface-guided therapy
- Perform Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
- Accurately position patients and verify treatment parameters
- Monitor patients during treatment and maintain detailed documentation
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and NY regulations
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff
