About The Position

Under the leadership of the department director and the department Manager the Radiation Therapist Performs Radiation Therapy services safely and effectively, maximizing the use of resources and equipment. Interacts with patients, medical staff, and peers in a positive, service-oriented manner. Performs all treatment procedures in area of assignment, serving the entire population from birth to death. Performs duties in accordance with established policies and procedures in order to contribute to the maintenance of quality patient care in the hospital environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.
• Graduate of a Radiation Therapist program.
• Current CA Therapeutic Radiologic Tech certification R.T.(T), ARRT(RT), and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required.
