About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-time day position. We are looking for experienced professionals with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in radiation therapy. This Radiation Therapist works with cancer patients of all ages, delivering highly precise and closely monitored doses of radiation. You must be a Licensed Radiation Therapy Technologist and a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) to be considered for this role. Requirements
- Must possess excellent communication and writing skills.
- Experience in Aria record and verify system, as well as familiarity with Varian TrueBeam and Edge treatment delivery systems.
- Licensed Radiation Therapy Technologist Required
- Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
- 1-2 years Radiation Therapy Experience
Responsibilities
- Machine warm-ups, equipment and patient set-ups, delivering daily treatments, assisting with the simulation process.
- Peer review and delivering the highest standards of care to our patients.
