About The Position

Georgia Medical Staffing is in need of a Radiation Therapist for a full-time, 1+ year contract with the VA in Pittsburgh, PA. Details: Contract dates: 5/15/26-5/14/27 (option to extend) Location: VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System University Drive 646 Pittsburgh PA 15240 Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm Pay: $55 per hour Qualifications: Current board certification by the ARRT Able to provide documentation of skills competancy Scope: Responsible for providing (Radiation Therapist) Radiology procedures, including, but not limited: The Contractor's radiation therapist(s) will perform CT treatment planning scans for treatment planning/tumor localization, compensators and customized patient immobilization devices. This is achieved using a Computed Tomography (CT) scanner. Contractor's radiation therapist(s) will be expected to deliver the prescribed therapeutic radiation for the purpose of cancer therapy treatments performed by operating a Treatment Machine. The Contractor's radiation therapist(s)will be expected to give oversight, training and encouragement to lower grade therapists. Requirements Must have board certification by the ARRT Must be able to show experience and skills competency Salary Description $55 per hour
