About The Position

Position Highlights: Position: Radiation Therapist Job Type: PRN/Pool Location: Monument View Schedule: PRN/Pool Responsibilities: Performs radiation therapy treatments. Explains treatment procedures to patients. Prepares the treatment room and equipment; transfers patients to treatment areas; and position patients for treatments. Checks daily treatment parameters; deliver the prescribed dosage and maintains treatment records. Photographs patients in the treatment position and observes patients for unusual changes of dosage. Performs tumor localization. Maintains supplies for the treatment room. Schedules patients for treatment on treatment machines. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Associate’s degree from two-year college (accredited program) or Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy ARRT certification or eligible for certification within six months of employment and Current BLS Healthcare Provider Card Compensation: $41.00 - $47.15 per hour, depending on education and experience. Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available. Additional Information: Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work. Requirements

Associate’s degree from two-year college (accredited program) or Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy
ARRT certification or eligible for certification within six months of employment
Current BLS Healthcare Provider Card
Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
